Description

Spinal decompression therapy is a non-surgical treatment designed to relieve back and neck pain caused by disc problems, sciatica, and spinal stenosis. Using specialized equipment, we gently stretch the spine to create negative pressure within the discs. This promotes the retraction of herniated or bulging disc material, increases nutrient flow to the disc, and reduces pressure on spinal nerves. Dr. Tino offers decompression therapy for both the cervical (neck) and lumbar (low back) regions.

What to Expect

During spinal decompression, you’ll lie comfortably on a specialized motorized table. A harness is placed around your hips and attached to the lower table. The upper part of the table remains fixed while the lower part slides back and forth, providing gentle stretching and decompression. Sessions typically last 20-30 minutes, and most patients find the treatment relaxing.

Spinal decompression creates space between vertebrae, allowing herniated discs to retract and nutrients to flow back into the disc. Many patients experience significant pain relief and improved function without surgery.
